Robert E. Harrington, III
Robert E. Harrington, III represents a third generation of lawyers in the Harrington family who have devoted their legal careers to helping injury victims. Following in the tradition established by his grandfather, his father and his uncle, Bob has quickly earned a reputation as a skilled and poised litigator in the areas of wrongful death and personal injury litigation.
Bob is licensed as an attorney in Illinois and in Indiana and he has had the privilege of representing injured victims of negligence at trial in various state and federal courts throughout the Midwest. He devotes an extraordinary amount of work and preparation to his cases, while still providing personal attention to his clients. He has successfully tried jury and bench trials to verdict in Chicago, Illinois and in Toledo, Ohio and has filed appellate briefs in state and federal courts in Illinois and in Ohio.
Bob is not only devoted to his work as a lawyer, he enjoys community service as well. He is a junior board member of Chicago's Catholic Charities and he has served on the Illinois State Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division Council since 2006. He was recently the co-chair for a charitable event that raised over $50,000.00 for various children's charities throughout the State of Illinois. He is currently an Illinois State Bar Association mentor to new lawyers and similarly served as a mentor to new law students attending Loyola University Chicago College of Law, his alma mater.
Bob is also a proud member of various civil justice organizations including the American Association for Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
Bob graduated from John Carroll University in 1999 with a B.A. in Political Science and English. In 2002, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago College of Law. He resides in Chicago with his wife, who is also an attorney, and their two young children.
